What is EEG-BIOFEEDBACK (NEUROFEEDBACK)?

EEG- biofeedback, also called Neurotherapy or Neurofeedback is a form of treatment utilizing the direct observation of the patient’s EEG recordings and subsequently eliminating those abnormal brain waves that contribute to the patient's symptoms. This technique of rewarding ‘’healthy” brain waves helps heal multiple neurological and psychological conditions. Disorders effectively treated with this modality include seizures, headaches, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), chronic pain including fibromyalgia, anxiety and depression. It also benefits behavioral problems including autistic disorders, attention deficit disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorders.
